Atoms is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design the physical architecture of autonomous transport platforms, focusing on sensor and compute packaging, drive-by-wire electromechanical integration, PCB enclosure thermal performance, prototype-to-production scaling, manufacturing documentation, rapid prototyping, and physical testing. The role requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field, at least two years of professional mechanical design experience, CAD proficiency, and experience with automotive or mobile-robotics hardware integration. It is an onsite San Francisco position with a base salary of $114,000 to $280,000 per year and medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance benefits.
