Description
Beneq is hiring a Mechanical Engineer for its Spatial team in the Advanced ALD Business Unit, based at its headquarters in Espoo, Finland. The role owns the design, development, prototyping, testing, and optimization of mechanical components and systems for spatial ALD platforms, including vacuum structures, enclosures, assemblies, and customer-specific modifications. Responsibilities span CAD design, FEA and thermal analysis, tool builds, root-cause analysis, manufacturability, PLM maintenance, mechanical integration, and customer-facing installation and upgrade support. The position requires a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in a relevant field, 3–5 years of industrial or capital-equipment mechanical design experience, vacuum-technology experience, CAD and FEA proficiency, and occasional travel to customer sites.
