Description
The Operations Engineer will support the design, maintenance, and optimization of mechanical systems and equipment in a steel pipe manufacturing facility, potentially working in the ERW Pipe Mill, Heat Treat facility, or Stretch Reduction Mill. The role focuses on equipment reliability, process efficiency, downtime reduction, maintenance, tooling optimization, and sustainable operations, and reports to the Director, ERW Mill & Investments or as assigned. It involves primarily mill-based work with moderate administrative office work, exposure to heat, noise, and moving machinery, required PPE, and possible night or weekend shifts.
