Burns & McDonnell is hiring an experienced Mechanical Engineer for its Power global practice in the Honolulu office. The role focuses on designing and supporting construction of power generation facilities across fossil, hydrogen, solar, nuclear, and energy storage projects, with responsibilities spanning conceptual design through construction administration, equipment specifications, vendor review, CAD-based drawing updates, field inspections, and cross-disciplinary coordination. Candidates need an ABET-accredited mechanical engineering degree or related engineering technology background, 3 years of mechanical engineering experience preferred, and familiarity with engineering design tools and HVAC/hydraulic analysis software.
