CHAOS Industries is hiring a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer in El Segundo, California to support the design, prototyping, mechanical integration, and system integration of ruggedized electronics, effectors, enclosures, mechanisms, and other mission-critical hardware for ground- and sea-mobile aerospace and defense platforms. The role involves CAD modeling, structural and thermal analysis, interface documentation, qualification support, customer and supplier coordination, production transition, and fielded-system sustainment. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline, mechanical design or system-integration experience, CAD proficiency, structural-analysis exposure, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. The position offers a targeted base-salary range of $110,000 to $138,000 plus benefits, stock options, and other compensation components.
