Description
CircuitHub is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to join its automation team and design, develop, prototype, commission, and debug robotic systems for small-batch electronics assembly. The role involves designing gantries and end effectors in Fusion 360, analyzing and revising mechanical systems, installing and troubleshooting robots and wiring cabinets, managing supplier relationships, and specifying sensors. Candidates should have fast-paced mechanical design experience, 3D CAD skills, and experience designing and commissioning machined components; robotics, PLC, CNC, optics, and chemical-handling experience are bonuses. The position is onsite in central Cambridge and offers a salary of £45,000–£100,000 depending on experience.
