DLR Group is hiring a Mechanical Engineer in Seattle, Washington, to design mechanical building systems from concept through construction administration. The role includes HVAC system design, heat load analysis, ductwork and piping plans in Revit, engineering calculations, coordination with architecture, structural, electrical, and other disciplines, and preparation of construction documents. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, 2–5 years of HVAC system design experience, Revit and heat load calculation software experience, and familiarity with commercial, institutional, or public-sector projects. Plumbing design, EIT or PE licensure, LEED accreditation, energy modeling, and multidisciplinary design experience are preferred.
