Description
The Mechanical Engineer will provide engineering support for a Mine and Mill site, focusing on mechanical equipment reliability. Responsibilities include resolving equipment issues with maintenance and operations, managing mechanical contractors, leading mechanical maintenance and capital projects, performing mechanical calculations and equipment design, preparing detailed mechanical drawings, approving prints, specifying parts, troubleshooting equipment, designing piping specifications, and updating document control. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or civil engineering, proficiency in AutoCAD or similar mechanical drafting software, and preferably 3–5 years of heavy industrial mechanical experience, mining experience, and Microsoft Office experience.
