Eaton is hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer for its Vantaa, Finland critical power systems campus. The role focuses on designing, documenting, testing, and optimizing mechanical components and accessories for UPS systems, including sheet metal, die casting, injection molding, materials, surface treatments, cable and harness design, prototyping, and product issue resolution. The engineer will also provide technical support to Product Management, Technical Support, and Sales. A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and up to five years of mechanical design experience are required, along with knowledge of materials and manufacturing methods, English communication skills, 3D CAD experience, and the ability to work in a project team.
