Description
The Tooling and Fixture Designer assists PE&RD engineers with tooling and fixture design, mold-related proposals, supplier coordination, feasibility studies, and production-process optimization. The role also involves troubleshooting, Six Sigma and CPK knowledge, operator training, and production-line capacity verification. Candidates need a bachelor's degree or higher in a mechanical engineering-related field, more than three years of non-standard tooling and fixture design experience, extensive machining experience, and proficiency with Core, Solidworks, and CAD.
