Google is hiring a remote Mechanical Engineer in France to provide field mechanical engineering support and issue resolution for campus data center projects. The role coordinates with Google, project management consultants, and specialist contractors; oversees mechanical installation activities; supports project scoping, design, schedule, quality, commissioning, safety, and authority inspections; and troubleshoots advanced mechanical system events. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field, equivalent practical experience, and at least three years of experience managing construction projects in an international working environment, along with experience with data center equipment and facility mechanical systems.
