Description
HDR is hiring a Mechanical Engineer for its Hydropower team in the Southeast United States. The role provides mechanical engineering and consulting support for hydropower facilities and pumped-storage projects, including mechanical system design, equipment sizing, specifications, bid evaluations, feasibility studies, site inspections, field installation and startup support, cost estimating, client proposals, and coordination of multidisciplinary project teams. The position serves as a mechanical lead across multiple projects and requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, a recognized professional engineering license, power-sector project execution experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant design software.
