Description
BLADE is hiring a Mechanical Engineer for its 100% on-site Fredericksburg, Virginia facility. The role supports the design, development, analysis, testing, and continuous improvement of mechanical and electrical systems for current and upcoming integrated products, including CBRN and containerized weapon systems. Responsibilities include complex design and trade studies, system and component design, SolidWorks drafting, static and dynamic structural analysis, manufacturing and machining optimization, BOM management, and review of design and test documentation. The position requires a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, 3–5 years of experience in a similar technical role, product development and production experience, and knowledge of mechanical engineering processes and CAD tools.
