KPFF Special Projects Division is hiring a Mechanical Engineer for its Seattle or Tacoma offices to support heavy civil, structural, industrial, and waterfront infrastructure projects. The role involves mechanical design, fluid power, piping, machinery, bearings, hydraulic systems, motors, controls, and bulk-materials handling, with occasional field observations. Candidates need 3–6 years of experience, a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, EIT status, and proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Revit. The position offers a hybrid work environment, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and total compensation of $90,000–$110,000 including performance-based bonuses.
