KPFF Special Projects Division is hiring a Mechanical Engineer for its Seattle or Tacoma offices to support heavy civil, structural, industrial, and waterfront infrastructure projects. The role involves project engineering, weldment and structure design, stress and fatigue analysis, machine design, hydraulic and electrical systems, piping and pumps, bulk material handling, and SolidWorks modeling. Candidates need at least six years of experience, a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, and PE registration. The position offers a hybrid work environment, medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement and other benefits, and total compensation of $100,000 to $140,000 including performance-based bonuses.
