Description
The Mechanical Engineer will support manufacturing operations, equipment reliability, maintenance initiatives, and continuous improvement at a northern New Jersey manufacturing plant. The role involves troubleshooting complex mechanical issues, working on the production floor, installing and aligning equipment, performing fault finding and preventative maintenance, and improving equipment performance, efficiency, and reliability. Candidates need broad mechanical engineering expertise, practical maintenance and fitting experience, machining and electrical knowledge, the ability to read engineering drawings and schematics, and strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
