NexWafe is hiring a Mechanical Engineer in Freiburg im Breisgau to support its Design Engineering team and develop functional showerhead systems for next-generation silicon-wafer production tools. The role involves translating simulation results into manufacturable designs, evaluating equipment concepts, performing engineering calculations, coordinating suppliers, and managing technical specifications. Candidates need a mechanical engineering or comparable degree, at least three years of full-time industrial experience in relevant equipment or manufacturing industries, knowledge of gas distribution and manufacturing processes, CAD proficiency, and fluent English.
