Description
Ontic is recruiting a Mechanical Engineer to support the engineering lifecycle of aerospace products, from new product introduction through in-service support and retirement. The role involves solving technical challenges, supporting engineering changes and redesigns, investigating issues, evaluating materials and manufacturing solutions, conducting root-cause analysis, reviewing drawings and data, performing calculations, and producing technical documentation. The position is based at the Bishops Cleeve site and requires a mechanical, aerospace, or related engineering background, design or manufacturing experience, knowledge of mechanical principles and manufacturing processes, CAD or PLM experience, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
