Description
Panelmatic is hiring an experienced Mechanical Engineer to create and review mechanical models and bills of materials for power distribution equipment, including metal-clad and metal-enclosed switchgear and panelboards. The role converts electrical drawings into mechanical packages, provides mechanical components to electrical engineering, releases BOMs for purchasing and fabrication, supports manufacturing, and coordinates with electrical engineering and project management. The position requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering, 1–3 years of sheet metal design experience, knowledge of mechanical design principles and relevant standards, and the ability to work in a multi-project environment; physical lifting and prolonged sitting, standing, and walking are also required.
