Description
Performance Drone Works is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to design, prototype, test, and validate mechanical components and assemblies for drones, payloads, and supporting systems. The role covers 3D CAD modeling, engineering documentation, DFM/DFA, tolerance analysis, tooling, manufacturing support, and collaboration with electrical, software, manufacturing, and quality teams. Candidates need 2–4 years of electromechanical design experience, a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, CAD and fabrication skills, and eligibility for a U.S. Secret security clearance or higher. The position is based in a manufacturing environment with standard 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. hours, occasional travel, and benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
