Description
PIPECARE Group is hiring an experienced Mechanical Engineer to perform fitness-for-service assessments on oil and gas pipeline and facility assets. The role involves API 579 and ASME-based damage-mechanism evaluations, RSTRENG calculations, Abaqus simulations of corroded components, repair-option recommendations, and leadership of integrity engineers. The engineer will also develop training materials, serve as a subject-matter expert during audits, and communicate technical findings to clients and senior management. A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and 3–5 years of oil and gas experience are required, along with knowledge of API 579, ASME codes, and Abaqus.
