Red Metals is hiring a Mechanical Engineer in Charleston, South Carolina to design, build, commission, and operate copper processing and refining systems. The role owns mechanical performance, reliability, output, equipment specifications, layouts, fabrication drawings, vendor coordination, maintenance procedures, and yield and throughput improvements. Candidates need a mechanical engineering degree or equivalent hands-on experience, 3–8+ years of mechanical engineering experience, and experience taking systems from design into operation; the position requires on-site work in an industrial environment.
