Royal SMIT Transformers B.V. is expanding its Engineering team in Nijmegen and is hiring Mechanical Engineers to design and develop the mechanical exterior of power transformers, including tanks, cooling systems, expansion vessels, fans, pumps, and oil circuits. The role involves 3D CAD design, technical calculations, quality and manufacturability assessments, collaboration with Engineering and Operations, and resolving technical issues. Candidates need a technical education at MBO, HBO, or WO level, knowledge or experience with 3D CAD and mechanical design, an affinity for structural mechanics and technical calculations, and Dutch and English proficiency.
