The Mechanical Engineer will lead complex hardware projects across assembly design, plastic and metal part design, tolerance and thermal analysis, component selection, manufacturing and design-for-manufacturability activities, test planning, documentation, and project notebooks. The role directs engineers and technicians, coordinates with purchasing and manufacturing, mentors interns and associate engineers, and requires a mechanical engineering degree, at least six years of relevant experience, and technical expertise in areas such as heat transfer, material selection, mechanics, or electromechanical packaging. The position is based in Pullman, Washington, with a stated pay range of $97,700 to $144,400 and US citizenship required.
