Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories is hiring a Mechanical Engineer for its Communications & Cyber Security division in Pullman, Washington. The role covers assembly and part design, tolerance and thermal analysis, shock and vibration analysis, vendor qualification, bill of materials and labor and material estimates, design and manufacturing documentation, testing, and project notebooks. A B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and experience or education in heat transfer, computer-aided design, materials and mechanics, and part and assembly design are required; electromechanical packaging, electronic manufacturing, SolidWorks, and environmental testing experience are preferred. The position offers a base pay range of $97,740 to $144,460 per year and medical, dental, vision, retirement, leave, and other benefits.
