Description
The Mechanical Engineer will specify materials and construction for PCB-mounted magnetic components, design assembly fixtures and tools, and support manufacturing and testing. The role uses SolidWorks CAD, performs mechanical and thermal analyses, qualifies vendors, maintains bills of material and project documentation, conducts design tests, and mentors interns and associate engineers. It is based at SEL’s manufacturing facility in Lewiston, Idaho, and requires a mechanical engineering degree, at least two years of relevant experience, U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency, and satisfactory background and drug-screening results.
