Description
Skydio is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop aircraft, ground-station, and accessory structures and mechanisms; integrate electrical components; manage vendor technical activity; conduct engineering tests; drive designs through prototyping, pre-production, and mass production; support manufacturing and quality processes; and debug failures. The role requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent, strong 3D CAD and analytical skills, experience with injection molding, metal casting, and CNC machining, and the ability to prototype and produce detailed mechanical drawings. Compensation is $115,000-$235,000 annually for regular full-time employees, with equity, health insurance, paid leave, holiday pay, and a 401K savings plan.
