Description
SpaceX is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, procurement, and construction of mechanical, piping, HVAC, and utility systems for infrastructure projects at its College Station facility. The role manages engineering teams, contractors, vendors, budgets, schedules, contracts, and field coordination while overseeing projects from conceptual design through closeout and activation. It requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or another engineering discipline, at least two years of professional experience with large commercial or industrial projects, and experience with mechanical, process piping, or HVAC systems. The position is onsite in College Station, Texas, with no remote work, and requires travel, extended hours, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
