Taurus Industrial Group is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to support mechanical engineering projects from its Port Lavaca, Texas office, with onsite work at a client location in Point Comfort, Texas. The role involves reviewing engineering drawings, designing pressure vessels, rotating equipment, process containment equipment, piping systems, skids, and some process design, and supporting equipment specification, procurement, estimates, and compliance with applicable codes and standards. The position requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering, strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
