Description
The Mechanical Design Engineer will support the design, analysis, prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical systems and components for Textron Specialized Vehicles. Responsibilities include interpreting specifications, creating CAD layouts and detailed drawings, performing tolerance and GD&T stack-up analyses, using 3D modeling and simulation tools, developing prototype plans, assisting with assembly, creating test and validation plans, and supporting BOMs, engineering change notices, and service manuals. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related curriculum, at least two years of experience, and familiarity with CAD, SolidWorks, ProE, UG-NX, CATIA, SAP, and Microsoft Office.
