TRI Austin is hiring a hands-on mid- to senior-level Mechanical Engineer for its multidisciplinary R&D team. The role covers mechanical design and analysis, prototype fabrication and testing, engineering analyses, composite materials work, proposal and technical-capture activities, subsystem integration, vendor and test-resource coordination, and mentorship. Candidates should have a degree in mechanical, aerospace, or a closely related field, hands-on defense or demanding-application hardware experience, proposal and DoD program experience, CAD and FEA skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
