Description
The Mechanical Engineer prepares equipment layouts, general arrangement drawings, flow diagrams, detailed fabrication and assembly drawings, and resolves design problems from initial design through shop-floor release. The role also involves calculating flows, loadings, dimensions, and weights; selecting equipment components; comparing costs against designs; and creating bills of materials for purchasing, fabrication, and shipping. A related bachelor's or technical degree or equivalent experience, strong AutoCAD 2D proficiency, and professional customer and coworker interaction are required.
