US Tech Solutions is hiring a Mechanical Engineer II for a 12-month assignment supporting optical fiber manufacturing qualification, validation, process improvement, equipment reliability, and capacity expansion. The role leads complex mechanical projects from concept through commissioning and sustained operation, develops engineering packages, oversees vendors and contractors, performs troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, and coordinates installation, startup, and operational readiness. The position requires at least three years of relevant manufacturing or industrial-equipment engineering experience, the ability to create and interpret mechanical documentation, and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
