Description
Xona is hiring a Mechanical Engineer for its Payload Hardware team to own mechanical hardware for RF systems from design through manufacturing, assembly, integration, and test. The role covers spacecraft payload electronics, antennas, mechanical ground support equipment, and complex electronics enclosures, with responsibilities including CAD design, manufacturing drawings, configuration management, bills of material, documentation, and hands-on test support. Candidates need a mechanical or aerospace engineering degree, 1–4 years of aerospace mechanical design experience, SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM proficiency, and knowledge of manufacturing, DFM, and thermal analysis. The role requires travel for off-site testing and is subject to security and export-regulation requirements for U.S., U.K., and Canadian roles.
