Description
Amazon is hiring a Mechanical Engineer for its Avionics Mechanical team to design and develop spacecraft avionics hardware from concept through production. The role partners with electrical, thermal, reliability, manufacturing, and other engineering teams to create mechanically robust, launch-qualified hardware while supporting qualification testing, manufacturing, troubleshooting, risk reduction, and continuous improvement. Candidates need at least three years of mechanical engineering or equivalent experience, CAD and engineering documentation experience, cross-functional collaboration experience, and knowledge of mechanical design fundamentals, materials, manufacturing processes, and tolerance analysis. The position is based in Redmond, Washington, with a base salary of $136,000 to $184,000 annually.
