Optikos Corporation is hiring an early-career mechanical engineer in Wakefield, Massachusetts to support optical system development and product creation. The role involves designing mechanical components and assemblies in CAD, performing engineering analyses, creating drawings for manufacturing, collaborating with electrical and optical engineers, supporting prototype builds and testing, and maintaining documentation and compliance. It is a 100% in-office position, requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, at least 2 years of mechanical engineering experience, proficiency with SolidWorks and PLM workflows, GD&T knowledge, and strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
