Description
Vantage MedTech is seeking an independent contractor Mechanical Engineer to provide 6–12-month mechanical engineering consulting services for medical devices in Olathe, Kansas. The role covers mechanical component and system design, CAD modeling, engineering documentation, regulatory compliance, design transfer, DFM/DFA, FEA, CFD, hazard and FMEA activities, rapid prototyping, and clinical and regulatory requirements. The contractor must have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field and at least five years of experience designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems; the engagement is 1099 and does not include company-sponsored benefits.
