Description

BLDM is looking for a mid-level professional mechanical engineer to join their team. This role involves assisting the project manager in managing project resources, planning, directing, and coordinating construction and maintenance activities. The successful candidate will participate in the conceptual development of construction projects, oversee their organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation, and manage field and administrative operations across multiple concurrent projects.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Minimum 2 to 5 years of direct experience in commercial/industrial construction projects.
3+ years of experience supervising personnel.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of business and management principles related to project management, including: strategic planning, resource allocation, production methods, coordination, client management, and documentation.
Knowledge and experience with the Contract/Billing system, Project Management, and Project Control Analysis (PCA), preferably.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English, preferably.
Analytical skills and attention to detail.
Good time management, ability to prioritize tasks, and meet assigned deadlines.
High standards of responsibility, honesty, ethics, and confidentiality.
Ability to identify problems, analyze their causes, and resolve them in a timely manner.
