Description
The Materials/Mechanical Engineer for the Sustaining team develops and evaluates polymeric materials and processes, consults with product groups, supports manufacturing, troubleshoots polymer processing, performs failure analysis, designs validation tests, and prepares specifications and supplier documentation. The role requires a BS, MS, or PhD in materials science, materials engineering, polymer engineering, or an equivalent field, plus 4–6 years of materials-science experience focused on polymers, along with knowledge of mechanical engineering, polymer science, manufacturing processes, and material characterization.
