Lockheed Martin Space is hiring a Stress Analyst to perform preliminary and detailed stress analysis of missile flight structures and mechanisms, electronic components, and ground support equipment using finite element analysis, hand calculations, and digital tools. The role supports structural design trades, design reviews, technical reporting, test definition, requirements development, on-site test support, data reduction, and data correlation. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent education/experience, knowledge of spacecraft or aircraft structural dynamics and testing, and the ability to obtain or maintain a Top Secret clearance with United States citizenship. The position is full-time and contingent on a contract award expected in September 2026, with a salary range of $79,300 to $147,300 and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
