Description
The Controls Engineer will support the design and production of missile control systems, manage hardware components in the Thrust Vector Control group, and serve as a technical lead for Servo Actuators and Gas Hydraulic Assemblies across qualification, production, service support, and aging. Responsibilities include engineering documentation, investigations, budget and subcontract management, trade studies, cross-disciplinary product development, mentorship, and technical interfacing with FBM management, systems engineering, quality, and Navy counterparts. The role requires Microsoft Office proficiency, relevant engineering project, supplier, budget, technical evaluation, and cost/schedule experience, exposure to failure investigations and root-cause analysis, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance; missile or aerospace experience, CAD and hardware modeling, gas/fluid dynamics, energetics, GD&T, CPE delegation, risk management, and communication skills are desired. The full-time salary range is $79,300 to $147,300, with medical, dental, vision, flexible work arrangements, retirement matching, paid time off, and other benefits.
