Description
Applied Materials is hiring a Mechanical Engineer in Pyeongtaek-Mokok, Korea, to troubleshoot mechanical problems, develop and modify layouts, schematics, and specifications, lead engineering projects, and design custom mechanical tooling and fixturing. The role also covers manufacturing and installation processes, engineering analysis, documentation, supplier coordination, and complex product solutions. It requires a bachelor’s degree, 4–7 years of experience, and knowledge of CAD, thermodynamics, sheet metal design, material selection, manufacturing methods, GD&T, flow analysis, and/or Design for Excellence. The position is full time, requires 20% travel, and is eligible for relocation.
