AEI is hiring a Mechanical Engineer I in its Denver office to support energy-efficient building solutions. The role begins with mentorship from experienced engineers and includes load calculations, system sizing and layouts, equipment selection, field surveys, and shop-drawing reviews. As the engineer gains experience, the role expands to leading mechanical project teams, writing specifications, participating in client and consultant meetings, and supporting construction-phase work. The position requires a BSME or BSAE from an ABET-accredited school, a minimum GPA of 2.5, and a non-academic internship; EIT certification and MEP consulting internship experience are preferred.
