Affiliated Engineers, Inc. is hiring a Mechanical Engineer I for its San Diego office for Summer 2027. The role involves load calculations, system sizing and layouts, equipment selection, field surveys, shop-drawing reviews, and later leading mechanical project teams, writing specifications, participating in client and consultant meetings, and supporting construction-phase work. The position requires a BSME or BSAE from an ABET-accredited school, a minimum GPA of 2.5, and a non-academic internship; EIT certification and MEP consulting internship experience are preferred.
