The Mechanical Engineer I researches, plans, and designs semi- and fully automated assembly and test stations and machines. The role develops design concepts, creates 3D models, fabrication and assembly drawings, bills of material, and vendor quotes, then supports fabrication, assembly, debugging, and machine qualification. It requires a mechanical engineering degree or equivalent experience, SolidWorks and AutoCAD knowledge, and occasional travel of up to 5%. The salary is $80,000–$95,000.
