Description

The Mechanical Engineer II designs, develops, and improves Bowmar products for commercial and military aerospace applications. This role involves using Lean Manufacturing and Lean Product Development processes to drive new product innovation and sustaining engineering initiatives with minimal supervision. The engineer will also manage program technical requirements, analyze customer specifications, develop manufacturing routings, lead design reviews, champion continuous improvement, and mentor junior engineers.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. Master’s degree in engineering is preferred.
Required Previous Experiences: 10+ years of progressive, professional related experience in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in engineering

Working knowledge of AS9100, MIL-STDs, and ITAR compliance
