Description
The Mechanical Engineer II will design, prototype, test, document, and debug electromechanical methane emission detection equipment for the Product Business Unit. The role involves mechanical and electromechanical systems analysis, 3D CAD and SolidWorks design, GD&T, manufacturing and assembly support, testing, reliability, safety, compliance, and technical support. Candidates must be local to the Houston, Texas area near Hobby Airport for interviews and the work environment, with a BS in Mechanical Engineering or a complementary discipline and 2–5 years of relevant R&D, manufacturing, or instrumentation development experience.
