Plug Power is hiring a Mechanical Engineer II for its Stack Engineering department in Rochester, New York. The role designs custom fuel cell stack components, develops 3D CAD assemblies and drawings, applies GD&T, FEA, CFD, and DFMEA, conducts prototype builds and testing, and supports manufacturing, quality, cost, and production release activities. Candidates need a mechanical engineering degree and at least three years of product design experience; fuel cell, CAD, Creo, GD&T, FEA, CFD, DFMEA, rapid prototyping, manufacturing, and engineering change management experience are preferred. The position is based at Plug Power’s Rochester Innovation Center, offers a base salary of $79,200 to $118,800, and includes health, dental, and vision insurance eligibility from the first day of hire.
