Red 6 is hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer to translate product needs into mechanical design solutions for AR and synthetic air-combat training products. The role leads design reviews, develops mechanical drawings and specifications, supports vendor proposals, prototypes products, performs structural and thermal analysis, creates test plans, and collaborates with cross-functional teams through product development. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 2–5 years of product design and prototyping experience, and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. The estimated base salary is $95,000 to $125,000, with healthcare, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
