Rocket Lab is hiring a Mechanical Engineer II for its onsite Robotics operation in Pasadena, California. The engineer will design, analyze, document, build, integrate, test, and qualify precision mechanical and electromechanical hardware for space robotics, mechanisms, tooling, fixtures, and ground support equipment. The role requires a related engineering bachelor's degree, at least two years of professional experience, SolidWorks or comparable CAD expertise, GD&T and tolerance analysis knowledge, engineering calculations, and hands-on hardware integration and testing experience. The position offers a California base salary of $100,000–$126,000 annually, stock compensation, medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits, and may be subject to U.S. export-control eligibility requirements.
